Our curriculum
Mrs Morley and Mrs Bridge are supported in class by Mrs Vlack, Mrs Rainey and Miss Pearson.
Teaching is also covered by Miss Dolan and Mrs Vlack.
We open our classroom doors at 8.40am; please please pass any messages to the adult on the door or send a message on DoJo.
PE days: Monday and Friday.
We cover National Curriculum 2014 objectives, and have several cross-curricular themes throughout the year:
In Year 2, we would like you to support your child primarily with reading and spellings.
Please read regularly (daily if possible) with your child and record this in their individual Reading Record.
Children will be given spellings on a weekly basis following the Little Wandle phonics scheme. These follow the phonics patterns we are learning and they will include Common Exception Words.
