Homework

In Year 2, we would like you to support your child primarily with reading, spellings and knowing number facts.

Please read regularly (daily if possible) with your child and record this in their individual Reading Record.

Children will be given spellings on a weekly basis and these will be targeted to your child’s individual needs. Sometimes these follow the phonics patterns we are learning and sometimes they will include Common Exception Words.

Common Exception Words

Please help your child to learn these.

Big Maths instant recall sheets will be sent home weekly which will allow you to help your child learn number facts.
