British Values
In 2011, the government defined British Values: democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance of different faiths and beliefs.
We regularly promote these values through our curriculum and a wide range of enrichment activities, designed to ensure that our children have the opportunity to learn and reflect on the values that underpin our lives.
Fundamental to our promotion of British Values is ‘The Golden Rule’ – a human value shared between all major religions: that you should treat others as you would want to be treated. We believe that these values are the fundamental building blocks for our children to grow and develop as responsible adults and British citizens.
