World Book Day - Harrogate Town Visit

Today, we were visited by Abraham Odoh and Derrick Abu, first team players from Harrogate Town AFC, who read a chapter from the Matt Oldfield book about the England and Bayern Munich player Harry Kane to some of our children; Mason G, Theo L (Y6),  Drew F, Aston W, Bethany C (Y5), Ozzy S, Liam G (Y4 PA/EH), Alexandros N, Lawrence R (Y4 AI/LS), Freddie D, Kasjan P (Y3 KM), Annabella S, Reggie H, Ollie N (Y3 JJ/CR). The children then took part in a quiz about the book for a chance to win some football books of their own. They also had the opportunity to take part in a question and answer session with the players. We would like to say a huge thank you to Harrogate Town AFC for giving up their time to come into school today. Everyone involved loved this opportunity to be engaged with books and be read to by real football players - what a treat!
